eFile EAD Renewal & Biometrics

I efiled my EAD renewal last night (4/9/06) and was able to get
a biometric appt for tomorrow (4/11/06).

Is it too early to get biometrics done within two days or should I
reschedule and get an appt for next week?

I am unable to check the status of my case as of this morning.

Any advice is appreciated?

FYI for EAD efilers

The lady at Customer Service Center mentioned that you should schedule a biometric appt <b>only 3 days after </b> after filing the case.

I guess you can go even the next day for Boimetrics. I filed 3/27 and went for Bio code 2 on 3/29. I did see LUDs too.

As far as checking case status online, you have to wait at least 48h (2 days) after you e-filed. The e-filing docs mension this.

Thanks damascus. I rescheduled my appt to Friday. I don't think it will make a big difference. I didnt want to rush and have something go wrong with the case.
