Hi,

I am presently a green card holder and my wife is a student on an F-1 visa. We applied for her GC last year. In the meantime, I relocated and also applied for my citizenship. I am coming up on my interview date soon.

a) does my application for citizenship automatically take care of the address change for the i-130 I filed for my wife?
b) Any idea on how long it usually takes from the interview till getting the citizenship?
c) What happens to my wife's petition - given my status will change from perm resident to citizen?
d) Is there anything that I need to do, or will my wife's petition automatically be identified as a i-130 for spouse of citizen???

Thanks for any feedback/suggestions.
Ram

Hi, I don't know all the answers. But, regarding spouse's application, at the oath ceremony they normally give a form to upgrade your spouse's application which you need to file to inform change in your status. Unfortunately, it is not automatic.
