Education question

I have Master's degree in Chemistry. After that, I did a computer course and then started working in computer industry. I have been working as a programmer for the past 7 years. Can I
take 25 points for my education and 21 points for experience even though my field of my education is different from the field in which I am working ?

Please advice.

I have an MBA from India and an incomplete MS from US. I ahve been working in the IT industry in US for the past 7 years. So for assessment purposes, would i fall under the education category of Master Degree and under the work experience category of 4 or more years?

Recently, one of my friend attended interview in LA. He did BCom in India. then some(6 months) IT experience in India, and some(3 years) in USA. Interviewer asked him, you did commerce course and then you worked in IT. So, friend gave him satisfactory answer, why he changed the line. Interviwer was satisfied. Friend got through the interview very well.
