I suspect that the major mismatch is the major reason for this REF simply becasue nowadays all science/engineering majors are more or less related. INS should not be such strict.
Avjr, or others who had this kind of REF could you please post the EXACT wording of your REF? I am in the same boat and is expecting a REF....
