Hi,

I have a 3 year bachelor in computer applications degree from an indian university and i have a 2 year computer applications diploma from a private institute in india. I got my education evaluation done for employment purpose. The report states my bachelors degree as "completion of 3 years of undergraduate study", and it states that the 2 year diploma is "completion of a program at an institution in the US that does not have regional accreditation".

Apart from these credentials, i am cisco certified (CCNA), currently enrolled in an AS degree program in computer networks and systems administration in a community college in CA. Currently i am preparing for CCNP and would soon be eligible for OPT/CPT.

I would like to know what are my chances of approval of H1B visa. I am planning to join some company as an intern soon. I was planning to get trained and probably apply for H1B, but the education evaluation has confused me.

I appreciate your time and thank you very much for going through all this.

Unless you can get an evaluation stating that your education (or your combination of education and experience) is the equivalent of a US Bachelor's degree, your chances are virtually zero. Without the equivalent of a US bachelor's degree you are not qualified to get an H-1B visa.
