My LCA states Master's with 2 years experience.
I have a 3(Bachelor's)+2(Master's)+ 7 yrs of exp
The education evaluation was done where the Master's in India was equated to Master's in USA in specific words.
Should I be okay

SK01,

My case is similar to yours except that I have a 3 years Masters from India.
My LC says: Masters required with 2 years experience
My education is: Bachelors(3 years) + Masters(2 years) + 6 years progressive experience after completing my masters.

Still waiting on my 140.

Gurus, Any inputs?

PHGuy,
My LCA says "Masters" period there is no "Equivalent to this or that" with 2 yrs exp.
and My Master's from India was clearly stated as equivalent to Masters in US.

Please comment on this experienced ppl

The LCA states different master degrees but not combinations like bachelors+ experience.

sk01,

I know somebody who has BA(3 years) + MBA (2 years) + 10 years experience and got his 140 cleared without any RFE a couple of months ago. His LC says Masters (finance, business or equivalent) + 2 years experience required.

Based on this case, I guess you should be OK.

Thanks PHGUY.Life is made easy in this forum.I hope there is such a forum for every facet of life.

Eta 750

The exact sentence from ETA 750 -- section 14 and 15.. would have been more helpful.

Is the job requirement for MBA type then U should be little fine but might raise a trigger if it is software programming..

good luck.

The Job requirement is for a Sr Software Consultant. But in the descriptiion of the LCA it says "would deliver a financial solution to the clients".So basically it was more towards my education and experience.

Consult unitedNations

Since Ur Edu Evaluation states that U are equivalent to master -- in Business Administration in US and U are looking for same sort of job ~ I think it should work out fine for U.

But the problem is ~ 3 years is not equivalent to Bachelors in US unless U have some combination and to do masters we need Bachelors...

Well I think you should consult unitedNations about this issue.
The real guru and his analysis is 99.99% accurate..

eBhola,
When the LCA has been approved with the same education and experience,in the i140 stage dont u think it should be more like whether I meet the clauses in the LCA like whether I have Masters(which i supported by evaluation) and experience or not, rather than looking into specifics

Hi sk01,

You may like to check the following official explanation from the USCIS.
http://uscis.gov/graphics/howdoi/eligibility2.htm

Speaking of my case, I have 4 yr bachelor's in Engg and 2 yr master's in Mgmt from India, plus over 10 yrs of related experience to make me eligible for EB2. However, based on my LCA stating position of Mgmt Systems Analyst, my State suggested to tone down the required education & experience for approval. I wasnt member of this Portal then and did not challenge.

I think as you got the LCA approved with the requirement of master's degree plus 5 yrs experience, you are fine on that front.

Good luck.
