Guys, I think we can have expectations that we should see priority dates passing April 2002 by Dec 2006 Visa Bulletin. If not, then I guess by Jan/Feb 2007 we should see that sucker in.

Again, this USCIS, but if the Good Lord help us nothing extraordinary happens along the way, I guess it is OK to expect people on April/May 2002 to see the light of the day by Jan/Feb 2007. Let's see if my guess is correct.

EB3 in October VB: OCT 2002 (chance 20% ,I wish I wish it comes to be true )

JULY 2002 (chance 40% ,at least the same date as 2005)

APRIL 2002 (chance 50% , anyway it is moving)

MAR 2002 (chance 30% ,better than retrogression)

EB-3 world will retro this fiscal year--the DOS has already said so. It's just a matter of when, and who wins the 'lottery' and gets approved in the meantime. We will see an April 2001 PD and it may be sooner than we know it.

I have a March 13 2002 PD, so I just missed out with the September visa bulletin. You have no idea how badly I'm hoping things move for October, but I am under no illusions about it. I've resigned myself to a 2 year wait for my greencard.

We got no freakin clue what sort of "demand" numbers USCIS is gonna use for Oct to Dec VB.... anything is possible, although I am leaning heavily on the "does not move" to "retro a few months" possibility.

On another note, every single time I/we got optimistic, USCIS came up and disappointed us to death. Therefore yes, I am aware it is possible that we may see the freaking dates going backwards or remain stuck. I agree, for those of us on the first quarter 2002, it is like a lucky game getting out of the mess before it gets worse.


I am working on my more certifications, just getting ready for the day the GC comes. Therefore if it takes few more months I am OK.
