Finally it is my turn to listen "This case has been Approved"....Both mine and my spouse\'s cases have been approved... Been on this tremendous, helpful bulletin board for 2 years...

Talked to IIO: 5 times....

EAD: 3 times

Approved on:12/5/01
Received the approval Letters ...

I am very thankful all the people for their support..I know it is really hard to have patience with TSC...But my suggestion is hang on guys surely it will be your turn soon....
 
Some Questions

First of all CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!.

At what date (MM/DD/CCYY) did you give your 2nd Finger Print. You say 11/01 but what date. The reason is I\'m in the same boat too. Just want to calculate the Average time it takes from FP2 thru Approval.
 
I gave by 2nd FP on 12/11/2001 and my details are,
EB3, INDIA
PD - 06/1998,
RD - 12/1999,
ND - 01/2000,
FP1 - 05/05/2000,
FP2 - 12/11/2001.

Second FP on 12/15/2001...Ahead of Schedule..actual date is 12/27/2001

I suggest you to call IIO and inquire whether they recvd your 2nd FP or not? I did the same first time (11/20) they said FPs are not yet received...I called them back again on 11/28 and this time the IIO updated the system after i informed him that i have taken the FP ahead of schedule.....So better to call them even if it takes a long long time.....but it is worth...believe me...

I guess u are right. I did my 2nd FP on 24th Oct. The scheduled date of FP was 20th Nov. But whenever I talk to the INS officer they talk about 2nd FP on 20th Nov. They cannot see that I have already completed my 2nd FP.

Did you get the help of any congressmen?
Also did you hear if ur case was assigned to an officer?

K7N...I did not take the help of Congressmen..

Also ..when i called IIO during Sept 1st week they informed that the case has been assigned to officer...i called them after 3 weeks they said the case came back from officer as the FP got expired...and i need to wait for FP reschedule....
