EB3 To EB2 - Perm Doubt

can anyone give me detailed info reg. PERM processing in EB2 RIR
How long does it takes to get approved in eb2 ?
Does the whole process takes 1 yr or more than that?
planning to convert from eb3 to eb2 , been working in the same company for the past 6 yrs , now company agrees to do perm eb2, can i retain my old PD if i apply once again in perm.
Only my Boss and HR ppl r meeting my attorney,
they r not ready to share info with me.

I-140- approved, running 3rd EAD, AP
I-485- only God knows

How to convert from eb3 to eb2
- From Company A to Company B
- Remaining in company a

and keep the same priority date.
