EB3 Retrogression Final Verdict

There are several threads on this. But everything seems to be in a grey area. Can anybody throw some light on what is the final verdict on this?

I am really not mentally ready to accept my case to go in abeyance.

Have heard different things from different people. Most contradicting each other. Many says nobody knows whats going to happen. Is it really true nobody knows for sure how they are going to deal with such pipeline cases.

Look at my signature. I was told and I belived my case was going to get approved 4 months back as per the dates published on USCIS website. But I didnt happen so. After a long wait, I got this stupid RFE. (Not to mention at a very wrong time, dont wanna get into those details here)

Then heard about this retrogression monster, and waited and waited hoping it will get approved before 30th Dec. Then again waited waited hoping that my case will not be affected. I was told and belived that by Jan15th things would be very very clear on who our pipeline cases will be handled, But nothing is clear to me atleast until now.

I am also hearing crazy stories about name check and stuff. What is USCIS upto?

Can somebody please throw some more light on this.

Our cases are similar. My RFE respond went INS on DEC 14 th...

As you said no one knows how our cases ( EB3, PD >Han 2002 I/C/P)going to be treated....

Cross your fingers crossed for couple of weeks... if nothing happens by that time...... we need to accept the truth that we are screwed by INS very badly...

Well, I already gave up guys.. I don't think its coming now in the next few months. I will wait for April/May and then we will see wht happens. I guess forget about this wait and start engagging urself in other stuff.. Just a friendly advice... Don't think about it at all..

What about the RFE that I received. Aren't they supposed to reply within 14 days of reveiving the RFE?


Does not it mean that they have already processed the case and they will approve it now?
 
I really think sometimes "is this GC really worth this much of stress?"
its taking toooo much of our time... :>
yet.. not losing hopes!:)
 
The day you step in into this country thinking that it is "Land of Freedom". In truely they dint add the word " Land of Freedom with ample stress" You solve one problem, then you have 10, 20 issues lined up. After living many days, we have stress at the peak level and acustomed to it. and I guess GC stress is very small so lets live with it.
