Dear Friends,
My details are as follows
EB3, PD 7/97, ND jan/2000, FP 3/2001....

after finger printing I have not heard any thing from INS, also my husband did not recieved any FP letter so far, its almost 3 month over, another problem is his first letter of his first name is also spelled wrong.
I appreciate any help in this case please.

Normally VSC process your file only 2-3 months after your FP. You can tell INS service center (depending on FP center) about the name mis-spelled. They will report back to VSC when they send the FP. It happend to my spouse too. They eventually corrected the name.

I just called IIO about my case and she said my case is under review area. I am think your case is under review as well. However, the fact that your husband hasn\'t received FP so far sounds troublesome assuming he has same exact dates as you do. I suggest you call 802-527-4913 and enquire about this issue. The best time to call is either prior to 8:30 am or after 2:00 pm. Also, first talk to your lawyer about the spelling mistake in the firstname and judge what his reaction on possible response from INS would be. I don\'t know the procedures on changing the name on the I485 application myself and I hope someone in the board can throw some light on this issue. I suggest that you not raise this issue with IIO as there is a potential for delays.
