Do you know the status of FBI Name Check?
I plan on sending the email for Name Check this week

I have done Biometric yesterday In which they have taken picture and fingerprint of only index finger.

In my first FP (May 2004)they had taken finger prints of all 10 fingers

Does this mean that we may get another FP notice if the old finger prints expire in near future?

Thats a good point and might be possible... All the guys who had done the FP intially [10 digits] ~ got Code 2 as they wanted the picture. And all guys who did not go for FP intially, got Code 3 in Biometrics..
FP will expire aftre 15 months (?) ... and so they might call us for code 3 once it is 15 months from first FP and 485 is still pending.

Got Code:2 FP on Aug 6th.

Recently enquired about my status with local congress man and got the most unwanted reply - security/name check pending.

My attorney planning to enquire after October once visas are available

Moved and did not receive FP Notice on time

Hi I have Just moved from boston to Maryland. Its been aroung 15 days and I received By Biometrics Notice, but by the time I received the Scheduled date is Passed. I have already filed AR-11 form. Does any one have any idea on how to get the new rescheduled appointment in MD Location.

Hi Zebmin,

You can visit the local ASC with the FP notice and request them for the FP.
If they dont, then call the INS and request for another FP notice to your new addrress.
 
I-485 pending since Oct 2002

My I-485 ( I-140 EB2 approved in May 2002 ) is pending since Oct 2002. I got an RFE in Feb 2005 and they received the response by March 2005. I called after 60 days and they sent me a letter saying that your case is delayed due to pending security clearance and that they can not do anything.
I gave my second FP in September 2004. I have no idea what to do.

Contact your Senator/Congressman to get the real reason for your delay.

If your case is really pending name check (or other security clearance), then even your Senator/Congressman won't be of any help.

But right now, that's the only option left for you.
 
FBI Name check
