EB3 July07 140/485 filing PD 2005

Filed 140 and 485 concurrently in Jul 2007,
RD: 3 Jul 07

140 got approved at the start of this year. My question is "When are they gonna get on to my 485 application"

My processing date is already current ( its Jul 16 as of today ). Now I do know that visa number is not available for EB3, but its gonna be available in october ( from various forums ). So at that time are they gonna process my case or are they gonna wait for my PD to get current ?

Forgive my ignorance, experts please reply.
 
I think your application will be processed independent of whether your PD becomes current or not. Processing times at uscis website can you some hint.

On side note:
As you quoted Jul16th date as I-485 processing date.But remember last year its the same date where USCIS has reactivated old bulletin where all EB categories became current can file starting from Jul 17th,2007.
Looks to me this date at TSC is not right. It makes me think TSC stopped processing I-485 for some time.
Look at NSC it is atleast Aug10th,2007

Thanks Krish for the info, it all sounds logical what you said, but at the same time I read on murthy.com ( http://www.murthy.com/news/UDpdhdtw.html ) - last para

"If a person has already filed the I-485 application when the dates were current, but then the Visa Bulletin date retrogresses to a date before the priority date, the foreign national would still accrue the benefit of being able to remain in the U.S. with renewable EAD or work authorization and permission to travel, even after completing the six years on H1B status in the U.S. However, the I-485 could not be approved until the date again becomes "current." "

Your reply gave me hope, but I guess I just have to wait and see, no more options left :)
