EB3 I140 vs EB2 I140

I'm in EB3 and I 140 got approved one year ago. Is it possible that can I change/use this same priority date if I filed the new I 140 in EB2? What is the disadvantage of using like this? I'm already using EAD and change the company.

You have to get a new labor certification with EB2 status. Then with that you have to get a new I-140. And only after your new I-140 is approved, you can use the old priority date when applying to I-485.
