So what do all the gurus think about the estimate for EB3 priority date movement since we crossed the 245i mark? How many visas do we have in EB3 India per year. What was the consumption trend before Retrogression kicked in?

Saras !! Where are you?

No idea about how many visas are available for EB3 India. All i know is that the cut-off of May 2001 might stay for next couple of months for EB3 India.
Also, i am guessing BEC will still be processing some of cases for April 2001.

EB3 India date moving to May 2001 does not mean that all the 245(i) cases are approved or taken into account, lot of 245(i) are stuck in the labor, As the 245(i) cases labor gets approved they will be taken into account, My guess is no one knows how many 245(i) cases are out there stuck in labor, There are chances of EB3 India moving back, EB3 India is stuck with 245(i), labor substitution etc, etc.

EB3 (India)
PD - DEC2001

i agree.....it does not look promising for EB3..

i just wish that people with 2001 PD get lucky......and get their GC in the next 12 months...

i do not have much hope for others..........because 2800 visas per year is not much.......we should get a picture by feb/march when uscis will release data about 2006.....we will see how many visas were consumed and in what ratio between EB3/EB2/EB1

i wonder if it is already out.....since USCIS follow OCT as start of year instead of Jan.
