I found an employer with EB2 pre-approved labor. He applied for I-140 and I-485 and I got the reciepts for 485.
Can someone clarify the following questions?
Can the employer file for I-485 even if the labor is for EB3 position?
Do the INS check before issuing I-485 reciept to see if it is a valid EB2 case or not.
If I have the reciept number can I tell the if the case is a EB2 or EB3.
I just want to confirm that that is a EB2 not EB3.
