EB3 Approvals after June 30 from VSC

Please post your details if you are EB3 from VSC and got approved after June 30. My NJ driver's license is expiring on Jul 30 and my EAD is valid till Oct. Am wondering if I should go ahead and get it renewed for 3 months or wait for another week to see if I-485 gets approved.

I-485- ??? LUD - 4/20 - FP Recd. on 4/18, 6/14 (EVL, paystubs and tax returns RFE recd and processing commenced. Note- there was no LUD for RFE sent.), 6/16
 
EB3 visas unavailable

no eb3 visas till Oct. 01. So dont expect to see your approval till then. I would say go ahead and get your license renewed and dont take the risk of not doing it.
 
Additional 90 days

I believe you will get expiry date + additional 90 days at the time of your license renewal.
 
Hi Folks,

My EAD is valid until Oct too. Can you please let me know what is the earliest that I should apply for renewal looking at the unavailable visa issue going on across board.

You should apply ATLEAST 90 days before expiry of current EAD.

why is that ? I have applied for a renewal after my current EAD expired a week ago. I am working on H1 at the moment.

IMHO, It makes sence though to apply at least 90 days before expiry IF one is working on EAD and in case if renewal is not approved in 90 days he/she can get an IEAD.

Thanks for the advice. I went to the DMV today and got my DL renewed. It took only 30 minutes and they gave me one valid till Oct 2006, that is 1 year from my EAD expiry date.

As there are no posts of any EB3 approvals in VSC after June 30, it seems that they are really not doing any.
 
I've just found out about I-485 approval in Texas Center dated July 18. EB-3 (software engineer)
 
I agree there is no way to confirm and the language seems doubtful too as he says that he got the email approvals but is not sure if its a mistake, and then adds with confidence that passports will not be stamped and cards will not be issued. No idea whats going on :-(
