Today morning we got e-mails "Approval notice sent" for our AOS.

Mine was a classic case of retrogression. I think we were all set to be approved just before retrogression.

It was frustrating (nothing against them) to see 2002-03 cases being approved. But now as I see it, we did not get approved because our case was in transit all this time. 3 months while others were getting approved. As soon as TSC got our case, they sent approval notices (should have sent them in 2004). Yesterday they received the cases, and approval notice sent today.

So old timers, if your case status is "sent to another office", and not yet "pending", hang in there. Once it is pending, you will get it within a week or so.

I did not do anything pro-actively. Just monitored the case status online. no e-mails, no senators, no FL, no FBI.

VSC -> TSC March 2, 2007.
FP1 Sept 2004.
FP2 Code3 May 18, 2007.

LUDs:
March 3: Case has been transferred to another office.
May 19: After FP2. Case has been transferred to another office.
June 26: Case pending at TSC (I guess the case file was received at TSC).
June 27: Approval notice sent.

I moved 2 times.
During labor: Interstate (same company).
During 485: within state.
No LUDs on both occasions.

Used 4 EADs/APs.

It is a big relief more than any thing else.
Thanks to this forum. I used to read approvals here (it was reaffirming that people do get approved :) ) That is why I post today, to give you all hope, specially VSC->TSC cases.

Congratulations, I am very happy to see a 2001 case getting approved, much deserved case. When did you receive your FP notice after you saw the LUD's

I received FP notices early May (about 15 days before actual FP date of May 18).
On change of address during 485, the move was more than 2 years ago.

No case specific LUDs before approval as others have seen on continuous days. So one day you will wake up with such approval notice in your email. dont rely on LUDs alone as indicators.
