Eb3 140 Denial - Need urgent Help

Denial cause: USCIS Needs an equivalent foreign degree is a degree awarded by the institution out side the US for a course that the similar in complexity and length (4 y) to a course of study for which an institution in US would grant Baccalaureate degree.It does not include series of diplomas.



Passed Section A and B Institution Engineers India Exams which is equivalent to Bachelors Degree in India. Apart of this I have 3 year post secondary engineering diploma

Government of INDIA, Ministry of Human resource, Department of Higher Education issue Gazette Order say that it is equivalent to Bachelors Engineering.

As per Department of Higher education - Bachelors in professional studies in engineering is 4 year course work.

Section A and B Institution Engineers India Exams alone evaluated as equivalent to BS in engineering.

any advices....Please
 
Get your degree evaluated

Surabhi,
You need to get your degree evaluated from an authorised company. Search the forums to get the name. I think its its called trusteforte or something like that.
Also what did your does your labor specify? It is asking for a bachelors degree or Bachelors degree or equivalent? This is very important to know.

did you receive RFE for degree evaluation or did they denied it without RFE.??
and did you send any evaluation with application??
 
What if only Bachelors is mentioned in Labor?

Mine is a similar case still stuck in PBEC and the labor says Bachelors. Education column says 4 years.

Trustforte gave US equivalent of Bachelors of Science though I have a 3 year Engineering Diploma after 10+2.

Is it going to get denied at I-140?

apparently this is only happening in Nebraska, one of my friend got approved yesterday from Vermont, and she also had 3 years degree from Indian and 1 year diploma and they accepted that. who did your degree evaluation??

I am blessed. I got my RIR labor after 4.5 years and applied I140. Receive RFE... Hurrayyyyyyy....

Did educational evaluation again and replied on july 20. LUD 8/14, 8/15 and 8/16.

Waiting for my denial...........

My case was similar to your's. I had Diploma in Met Engg from Govt Polytechnic (3 years) and AMIIM(Indian Institute of metals). I got evaluation done from Sheila.

She evaluated 3 years equivalent to 4 Years Degree with 122.5 credits and AMIIM to Master.It was approved from TSC.

Did you apply in EB2 with AMIIM.

Even one of my friend got the 140 aproval with AMIE in last month with out any issue.

I sent PM....PLease respond to it.

Did you send Govt of india GO on AMIE. My i140 cleared last year and My education is AMIE.
 
Even one of my friend got 140 approvalin last month from NSC who is passed AMIE in same year/ branch got the evalution from same firm.His case was filed later to me. His case filed as it is to my case.

Did you face any RFE? Please give me advice.

one thing I am not sure where in labor says "number of years of degree = ?? "
I searched and i couldn't find any.,

Congratulations on your approval. Those who file with the 3 year evaluation to a US bachelor's before an RFE or Denial are having an extraordinary success rate. It was a pleasure working with you.

Guys, who had approval from NSC for 3 yrs diploma + AMIE + PGDCA.
My I-140 which was approved by TSC is getting denied in NSC. They have given Intent to Revoke. What a shame :mad:

I am thinking I will submit credientials evaluatin in detail (with points) and try. But I do not have any syllabus

If any one of you have the syllabus for AMIE section A and B in 80s. Please help if you have: sarathynp2000@gmail.com

Didn't understand the sequence of event: First, your I-140 application was approved in TSC, then how it got denied in NSC?

I have a similar situation. I have the syllabus for AMIETE (not AMIE) and I can fax it to you. Let me contact you over email.
