EB2 Vs Pre Approved Labor EB3, Please Advice

Hi Guys,

I need an advice.
I am BE(CSE) with 9 years experience. I came to US last Year.
My Employer has offered me to do GC under EB2 Category using PERM.
He has also offered me Pre Approved Labor with Priority Date of July2004

Is Filing for EB2 is better or taking Pre Approved Labor with Priority Dated July 2004 is Better,
Which one will be faster for GC?
Please advice

How about going through this step (This is the best solution for you)
- Filed I140 with Pre-App. Labor to secure the PD 07/2004
- Then, later file EB2 PERM (after getting I-140 approved) and file a new I-140 to capture that PD 07/2004.
At that time, your PD may already current for I-485.
 
is it possible to apply in both categories?i am offered substituted labour of eb-3 2002 ,past few months before my employer could offer this option i started my labour under eb-2 via perm yet to file.
i am pretty confused if i can apply i-140 of eb-3 substituted labour and also apply for labour eb-2 thro perm.
if given an option whats better 2002 eb-3 or 2006 eb-2.
