Are EB2 I-140 adjudications faster than EB3?
I know as long as the dates for filing AOS are current it does not make a difference but I am talking just about the times of processing I-140.

In my opinion, the I-140 processing times for EB2 and EB3 cases are almost identical.
Earlier (Before three, four months), it used to be like EB2 is processed atlease one or two months ahead of EB3.
I still see that trend for Concurrent applications, but for CP option cases, I do not see a good trend indication at all.

So, It is safe to assume that EB2 & EB3 I-140 petitions at NSC are processed with in + or - one month from each other.
 
Ask your lawyer to evaluate the chances in EB2 as opposed to EB3. If EB2 gets rejected, you will have to restart 140 with EB3. About 1.5 yrs. back NSC used to automatically send a RFE for changing to EB3 if you did not quailfy for EB2. They stopped quite some time back.
