EB2 requirment

Hi:

I have master degree in computer science and 3 + years of experience.
With this credential, am i eligible to apply labour in EB2 category.

My employer is saying that in order to apply for EB2 category one has to hold a supervisory postion.also saying that its the new rule in perm.

Is this true?

Only the job description dictates EB2 or EB3. For example, if the job description requires BS + 1 year exp then it CAN NOT be EB2.

It means if my employer agreed upon posting the job requirement that requires BS plus 5 years experience or master degree with 3 years of experince., Then i m all set to go ahead with EB2.

Yes, but make sure that the job description does not appear to be tailored to fit you into it. DOL does not like that and at i140 stage, it may cause problems.
