Hi,
I applied for GC in EB3 category in Aug'2005. And i got my labour approved and I-140 approved. i applied for I-485 in Aug'07 when the priority dates were current and i am on EAD now.
Now i am planning on upgrading my application to EB2 since it is atleast progressing fast. In order to do so, i heard that i should have 5 years of experience prior to joining the current sponsoring employer. and a (12 + 4 year)graduate degree course for education.
I have like 12 years of Education + 2 years of experience(as a computer assistant) + 4 years Graduate course + 3 years of experience(as a software engineer).
Given this case, am i eligible to apply for EB2 category? will the 2 years of experience( as a computer assistant) before my graduation work?
