Hello gurus,
I am currently employed by company 'A' for past 2.5 years on H1B. Right now, I am working with a client of 'A'. Lets call it 'B'.
Now 'B' has offered me a full time position and said they would process my green card. I have the following questions:
1) On what basis does my case fall into EB2 or EB3 category. I already have a Masters. I read somewhere that if the job description states the requirement as only Bachelors degree, it does not matter if I have Masters or not. I will still be in EB3 category. Please comment on this.
2) My Manager said as they are going through some budget issues, he is not sure if the company can completely bear all the expenses for GC. Is it normal for an employee to share the expenses (for GC) with the company.
3) My manager is a pretty nice guy and he wants me to give him some input reg the GC process. Now, I know the LC is the first stage. What are few points to keep in mind so that LC application does not get rejected. I want these points so that I can pass them to HR and legal through my manager.
