Hi, I filed my NIW EB-2 application in late Jan. at TSC. My EAD and AP have been approved. I am now hearing rumors that 2010 is pretty bad for NIW approvals and many are RFE'd or getting denied. Is there any basis for these rumors? Any input will be appreciated.
 
Have not heard anything regarding new approvals/RFEs.
Could not find anything on-line either. As far as I could see, the rates are all normal (this is only my opinion based on limited cases provided in trackitt)
 
Hi mhush, I found out that my I140/I485 case was approved yesterday (3/26). Took just about two months since filing!! Feels great.

Not sure if both I140/I485 could get approved at the same time, but the most difficult step is now behind you.
Hope to get your GC soon and please update once you get it.
 
I graduated with a PhD last year and I'm now a post-doc at Harvard. I have one first author paper in NSMB, and a first author preview in Mol. Cell. Four citations. I was awarded a prize at an international conference and had 7 excellent letters from leading experts in the field (5 from the US and 2 from Europe/UK).
I received my GC in the mail yesterday (04/02/10)
 
Very impressive. I have a friend, who Filed at August, 2008 and got green card Oct, 2009. and your case are even faster It seems there is no typical gaps in your two case. maybe references are indeed very important. I will start E2-NIW by July. Hope 2010 is a good year.
