My wife has her EB2 NIW I-140 approved and I-485 pending (we have our EADs). Due to reorganization she got laid-off by her employer recently who had filed her NIW petion.
My question is
a. Her NIW is field under the title of Bioinfomatics Softare developer. If she gets a new job as softare developer in some other service sector like financial or Energy etc, how good are her chances of getting her I-485 approved?
b. Should she maintain her H1 status as a backup?
c. Her EAD expires on Aug 2007, does she need to be employed before then, in order to renew her EAD?
