EB2 job description

Hi guys,

I want to apply PERM labor for tailored for EB2 with job title as software engineer-II and MS+ 6 month exp. I have a pending I-485 with approved I-140(EB3) and it had title= software engineer and same education/experience.
Do you think its a good approach to capture the PD or a more senior position is required for EB2?

Gurus any ideas greatly appreciated. software engineer & soft eng-II both fall under Jobzone 4 and i think its difficult to get the EB2 approval for jobzone 4.

For software occupations that falls under job zone 4 with an svp range of 7-8, the maximum education and experience allowed is bachelors degree plus 2 years work experience OR masters degree plus 0 years experience, any requirements beyond this would definitely raise a business necessity audit, be prepared to provide strong documentation in case of audit

any possibility of impact on my existing 140/485 in case the EB2 labor/140 gets denied??
does uscis cross check against old labor /I-140 and see if the new job is substantially different?
