EB2 Interfiling ( Replacing EB3 485 with EB2)

I have filed 485 with EB3 category.After filing, I received EB2 I140 approval. So, My lawyer has done EB2 Interfiling to switch my EB3 category with EB2. Not sure of anyway this is going to help me after from helping in case of any PD retrogress in EB3. Does any of you has pursused similar path or have any idea on pro\'s and Con\'s?.

There are a few cases on CSC tracking lists where folks changed
their categories (mostly upgrading EB3 to EB2). They did so
at the time when PD for India was several years behind current
date. Since all cateogries are current right now, upgrading
won\'t help much but could come in handy if PD retrogresses,
which does not seem likely for the near future.
