I got an RFE on my I140 asking for
1) 2001 W2 and
2) my company's 2001 tax return (Small company with <50 people)

The response was received by INS on 04/09/04.

Can anyone give me an idea of the timeframe that i should expect my I140 approval? Is it a couple of weeks, couple of months, or again years.

It is usually takes 3 to 4 weeks. I am also same like you, my RFE was replied as on 31 March 2004. I am also waiting.
As per the information from Immigrationwatch.com it is taking avg of 14 days from the date of reply.
 
IRS certified tax return??

I received my 140 RFE details on Apr 14. It is similar to yours.

a) 2001 tax return of company and b) 2001 W-2 of mine.

They are asking for IRS certfied return for company's 2001 tax return. How to obtain this certification?

What documentation did you submit for company tax return?
Annual reports for 2001 accompanied by audited or financial statements? or IRS certified tax return for company?

mgdc,

I am not sure what documentation to submit, as company lawyers did this without telling me how or what. They said they had all the documents of the company and were quickly able to respond to the RFE.

My online status shows RFE was mailed on April 16th. How long before it actually comes in the mail? Any ideas? Also - will it just go to my attorney or will they mail a copy to me as well as the company? Any info is appreciated.
 
The RFE goes to your attorney. Lately, based on some other posts, it has taken any amount of time from 3 days to 2 weeks to get to the attorney.

My salary is slightly more than the LC

Yes, as far as I know.
 
I got RFE VSC-EB3-1-140

My RFE is , my labor salary is $70k but I was paid $53k for 2003/2002, USCIS is asking the reaosn why there is the difference and why it was paid less of $18k??.....Do you guys think this wil deny my I-140??
