EB2 Filing before Oct1st ?

I am relatively new to the 140/485 forum so excuse my limited knowledge on retrogression. Since the September bulletin had EB-2 dates as current and the Oct bulletin has it retrogressed to Nov-99, does it mean that if the 485 application(EB-2) reaches USCIS before Oct 1st, applicant can still avail EAD and AP benefits? Or will the application be returned saying immigrant visa numbers are not available for this priority date, thereby no EAD, no AP.

I do understand that no matter what, 485 will not be adjudicated till priority date becomes current (which is a very very long time for me). The only relevant concern for me is EAD+AP then.

Gurus please help.

USCIS has already been rejecting EB2 485 applications from last week.

You can apply. Application should reach USCIS before 30 th September. If they have rejected any one it is an error.

The EAD and AP are based on the I-485. If you can file your I-485 on or before 9/30, then you can apply for the EAD and AP at anytime.

If you search this forum, you will a few posts where GC was not issued
after interview at local office citing non-availability of visa numbers.
There is also one post which says EB2 application was returned earlier
this month for the same reason.Stop acting too smart like the guy who
said Manilla site was hacked :D
