Eb2 / Eb3

Hey all,
Does "Skilled worker or professional" include EB2 and EB3? Or does EB2 come under "Advanced Degree or Exceptional Ability"? There seem to be two categories - "Advanced Degree or Exceptional Ability" and "Advanced Degree or Exceptional Ability requesting NIW".

The processing dates for EB3 (I140 in Nebraska) have moved to May 12, 04. But the same for "Advanced Degree or Exceptional Ability" is still at Oct 06, 03.

I applied under EB2 RD Mar 1. FP complete. I dont see any updates to my I-140 application online. So, I suspect my application is probably under "AD or EA". Any thoughts????

Regards.

Those may 12 dates r for EB3. Nowhere does USCIS say, cases r for concurrent or non-current. maybe in practice concurrent cases r slower than non-concurrent due to ohata memo philosophy and due to the fact that some 140 cases r going for Counslar processing. However those may dates for skilled and unskilled workers..

i know what u mean, but in reality concurrent Eb3 dates are not may 12 - thats what i shud have said..its non concurrent times, which are as usual erroneously reported as EB3

Thanks for the replies. What I gather is that concurrent processing applications are basically in a lost state now. Is this right? Is there any way to check on processing time for concurrent applications? I just feel that, knowing the ins, this is very dangerous. Any goofup will not be noticed and it could end up taking just as long as ordinary applications. I am starting to think that consular processing might have been a better option now. Any comments?
