My company just started the LC process for me. The minimum requirements for the position were set as follow -
1. Bachelor + 4 years of relevant w/e
or
2. Master + 2 years of relevant w/e
3. Foreign lanaguage preferred, not required
The requirements were determined by the company and all my team members qualified under either 1 or 2. Some of them meet both. But I am not sure if BA+4 equal to MA + 2. My company told me it's up to their discretion.
I got the position with Master + 2 yrs w/e. When I was hired, I only had 3 years of relevant w/e, but now I have 4 years.
Here are my questions:
1. Am I eligible for EB2 since I was hired using master + 2 yrs w/e?
2. The tile of the position is sr. international auditor, which I believe is a type 4 (SVP 7 - 8) occupation according to o*net. Are the minimun requirements too high? Is that going to increase the chance of getting audited?
3. If I go with EB3, I have to wait until my priority date becomes current to file I140 and I485, right? Can I change job within the company (same or similiar postion) or get promotion without jeperdizing my process?
