HI ALL:

just i want to know time diff in processing of gc in different categories...............

Where( in what stage) we can observe the time difference in precessing the green cards in different categories?


two of my friends processing is going.
one in EB2/RIR and the other in EB3.
they stated labour in jan 2001,approved almost same time.
then they applied for 140 in aug 2001, they got approved in march 2002.

now they applied for 485 ,sofar no one get finger prints .

based on this,
1. can we assume there is no difference in what category you are....
2.depends only on how lucky you are.....

There is usually little if any diffence in EB-2 and EB-3 processing times. The only place there is a diffence is sometimes in Priority date but that has not been an issue for more than 1.5 years. As long as everything is done correctly and the people and jobs are clearly qualified for the respective categories the processing times should be virtually identical. Of course, if they are assigned to different officers they may take different amounts of time.
