I have read so many forums and everybody wrote 5 years progressive expericence and Bachelor's degree for EB2 or a Master's degree for EB2 category. Does USCIS says this is the only criteria to be in EB2?. I am a member of professional organizations, obtained professional license to practice in a particular field, doesn't these things count? Apart from having Master's degree, 5 year expericece, high end salary etc. Can someone throw some light on this?.

Thanks

USCIS strictly goes by what is written in the law. Their interpretation of the law requires a minimum job requirement of MS+0 or BS+5 yrs progressive experience to qualify for I-140 approval under EB2. This is the most common way of qualifying under EB2.

There is another channel for approval under EB2. If one's Labor Certification does not require MS+0 or BS+5, they can provide evidence of at least three items as incidated in the attached list.
