EB2 category

I am confused about the processing time in vermont center.

My lawyer told me I belong to EB2 category, but the current processing date is 5/28/02. I always thought I belong to EB2 (Skilled Professionals), which should be on 10/28/02. 5/29/02 are those fellows of National interests, right?

You understood it wrong, that's why confusion.

EB2: Advanced Degree (Eg: Master's degree) OR Exceptional Ability (Eg: Bachelor's with 5 or more years Experience)

EB3: Skilled worker or Professional (All bachelor degree holders with not much experience)

National interest group is EB1.

Hope it will reducing your confusion.

Eventhough VSC says the processing dates are 5/28/02, many later cases got approved, despite many older cases still pending. If you are lucky enough, you can expect your I-140 any time soon after holiday season.
