EB13 EAD need help

I am on L1A and my 140/485 were applied concurruntly on 03/2005. I need to clarify a doubt. Any help is appreciated -

My wife is currently working on EAD thru L2. Should I apply her EAD thru GC, in case I need to change job under AC21 some time later and no longer be on L status. If we apply her EAD thru GC, she would have 2 EADs. One thru L2 and other thru GC. Which one she can use? What are the pros cons of using either EAD?

As long as your L1 is valid and you are in that status she can have the EAD which you got through L1. Once you start working on the EAD your L1 becomes invalid and hence her EAD also will be invalid. Also she cannot have 2 EADs. If she starts working on the new EAD the old one automatically becomes invalid.

Thanks for your reply. So, if we apply for her EAD thru GC, and she gets it, which EAD she should use? I would prefer she uses the new EAD and give up the current one. Do you see any problems in doing that?
