All you RFE gurus.
I recently received an RFE for an EB1 I-140 petition. Among a list of items was one that wants "additional information about you in professional or major trade publications or other major media relating to your work in the field for which classification is sought".
The problem I have with this is that my papers have been circulating till date mainly in working paper format; I have a bunch of leading researchers who refer to my work in their working papers. I also have a book contract; the book should be out in at least another 6 months.
At least one of my papers has been accepted for publication in an academic journal and should be out in paper format by the
end of the year. Given that my work in quite recent (and has been in working paper form), it is difficult to expect to see published papers that refer to it. It takes close to 2 years for any paper to get published.
So given this context, I am not sure how to go about convincing INS to take my work seriously.
Any comments, tips, suggestions.
Thanks.
