... suddenly jumped all the way back to September 2005, according to the dates posted yesterday by AILA (www.aila.org).

Sigh. 7 months of waiting already and looks like 3-4 more in the store for me.

They've been at September 2005 for the past couple of months. These are the processing dates, not the Priority Dates

Nope. On USCIS web site the latest processing dates were posted on 06/13/2006 and are 03/17/2006 for OR, 03/14/2006 for EA, and 03/20/2006 for NIW @ NSC.

Looks like they (NSC) have counted all transferred applications and are beginning processing now, in order of RD.

I agree aila is ahead of USCIS for publishing dates and their dates show that its going back datewise...i see two possible reasons.
1. transfer of cases which mean heavy load
2. Heavy load of enquries....when dates are outside processing dates people place enquiies and that halt progress of work little bit and NSC does this to prevent the incoming enquiries.

my suggestion will be... take it easy even though dates are going back on paper..center will keep working on application as per current unpredictable speed...
