My company (private research lab) is ready to file Eb1-OR for me. I got 9 papers (7 first author), 150+ citations, 4 presentations, journal reviewer etc -- I am not sure if it is sufficient but I suppose a case can be made by a competent lawyer.
I already have a 485 pending as a dervative of my spouse's EB2 application (PD will be current in October). I filed 485 after her GC got approved in July.
Should I file EB1 or just wait for 485 based on derivative of Eb2? I think if the PD is current it shouldn't matter whether it is EB1 or EB2 application, since security checks shouldn't differ between categories. Besides I can already get EADs and so have the "GC freedom". So I am not inclined to file Eb1-or. Am I missing something?
