EB1-OR: Task of employer

Here is my situation:

1. I work in a big company where the immigration department of the company is back-logged.
2. I am willing to file for EB1-OR.

Question:

1. What will be involvement of my company immigration department in the process, do they have to just sign the papers that the attorney prepares ? If yes, how many papers etc - any details.
