EB1-OR qualifications

Hi All,
I was wondering if my qualifications would be enough for EB-1 OR

-Ph.D. from a top US university
-permanent job in industry
-6 pubs in international journals (2 first author)
-3 abstracts
-over 100 citations of my articles
-3 letters from coworkers (advisors, my manager at work)
-3 letters from profs I have taken classes with
-3 letters from independent US profs, 4 letters from independent international profs (Canada, Germany, UK)

Regarding at-will issues, is it sufficient if my cover letter from HR states that the position is "permanent"?

Thanks

Tony403:

I think your credentials are good enough for you to pass the hurdle.
I have almost the same list as yours and managed to get my EB1-OR
approved from CSC (both I-140 and I-485).

Just one thing -- heard recently that CSC is kind of more strict on
this category, but have no idea how.

Good luck.

Thanks. I am applying in VSC. Anyone know how things are going there?

You shouldn't have much trouble in VSC with an OR application. Unless if things don't change for better, the only problem you will have will be a long wait for your adjudication.

Does anybody know how NSC treats EB2-NIW petitions these days? I have heard that they are among the worst --most rejections!

Thanks

Recently I talked with an attorney, he told me that because of too many NIW applications recently, this category has become extremely difficult. He told me that USCIS is rejecting almost 70% of the cases. I don't know how accurate this information is, but this indeed is frightening.

70% itself is not something to be worried about because a lot of people who may have a marginal case are also applying because they have lost their job etc. What I am most concerned about is the number of petitions rejected inspite of having solid credintials.

I also think so. May be too many unqualified people are trying their luck in this category. But I really don't know how to find the number of applications with solid credentials or otherwise.
