EB1-OR Job Offer

Hello,

I am filing in EB1-OR category. I work for private organisation in a full time research position. My employment letter says its a full time position (with "at will" conditions) and the company expects to have a long term relationship. There is nothing like END DATE in the letter or anything like "this job offer is supported by this grant."

Is that good enough to show "PERMANENT JOB OFFER" for EB1-OR.

I dont know what does PERMANENT JOB OFFER really means. These days every where in private sector permanet job offer are "at will" and the employer can throw you out any time or you can leave the employer any time - with or without any cause.

Please suggest... anyone who has their EB1-OR case approved and had similar position...

But if you are working on H1B... which is for 3 years.. how can the company give your "PERMANENT"
 
With a company sponsor, "at will" may not be a problem in my opinion. It is with Universities that your need the magic word "permanent". This is because there can be contract or term appointments in a University. In the industry, I think appointment without an ending date should be good enough. Company sponsored OR applicants may be able to shed better light on this.

I know the letter which I have is very typical people get in private industries research organizations. Most of the letters always write Full-time "at will".

Anyone who has filed for EB1-OR and is from private organisation.... please reply ...
