EB1 - Extraordinary Ability : General timeline for preparation after evidence submission

Hi,

Got a question for EB1A prepared by Attorney.

Question 1: Where does really getting Attorney help ? Would having an attorney representation really make difference?
Question 2: After submission of all the evidences (ref letters, credentials etc) to attorney, how much time generally they take to prepare the petition for final submission (including writing the cover letter, filling up the form etc)?
