Any preferred format for including citations for the published article. Say, I have an article titled `my article' in a journal say Journal of Computational Chemistry. And this is cited by 10 other people in their works. How do I list those citations in the documents for I-140 ?.

Something like this ?:

(My) Journal Publications
------------------------
1. `My article1', Author: me, Journal of Computational Chemistry: vol.... (year) pp.

Citations:
i). Article title, Author: , journal name,
ii). .
iii). .
iv). .
v). .

2. `My article 2', Author: me, Journal of ....

Citations:
i)
ii)
iii)
iv)

3. `My article 3', Author: me, Journal of...
Citations: None

4. ....

Thanks,

I gave as Exhibit ** a print-out of the first pages of the Google Scholar output (papers are ordered by citation numbers).

What is nice with this is that it can be easily checked, as the url is printed on top of the page...

In the memo itself, I just summarized and referred to the Exhibit **.

As you see below with the first four references from a search with A. Einstein as author, the format is pretty clear, with the citation number well visible, as well as your name, that will be highlighted on the original web page.

You can use a similar output from you preferred citation search engine.

Thanks Chris. I was not really thinking of using Google Scholar. In my case, I don't find all the citations appear in Google Scholar. If I use Web of science, I get few more.

Just a suggestion. I had my references in tabular format with columns for Title, Journal name, Year, Volume, Page number, Authors and country of the authors (Showing different country names I beelive would show the global impact of your work)

HelpingHand,

Depending on your field, on how recent the paper is, and if citations include talks or really published papers, you will indeed get different numbers from different sites giving feedback on citations. Well cited papers get very close numbers though wherever you look at them.

For EB1, I think that is it too much to give this level of details on the citations. It can be seen as a way to mask a relatively small number of citations by providing a lot of details on each of them. Especially for EB1EA, I would think that claiming to be at the top of your field requires a few papers really well cited, and a total number is plenty good.

Now, for NIW, it is a different game and indeed what mougc is suggesting (nice clear table) is a good way to evidence the quality of your work.

Mougc,

By the way, what is your current status with respect to EB1? You had posted quite a few questions over the past months, but I probably missed your comments on what you finally did.

The recent processing dates say "They are now processing cases received February 13, 2007. So you have never received any feedback from TSC, or RFE or did u initiate Service enquiry?

Good luck

yeah initiated service enquiry in july2007... still no response.
have to wait 45 days before initiating a second one.
one of my friends case got processed and he received a RFE yesterday and he had pd: Jan2007 at TSC (EB2-NIW).. so they are definitely processing cases according to processing times at TSC.. because previously I thought due to I-485 fiasco they were putting off I-140 cases as I saw several cases pending on Trackitt from Oct2006.
Not sure if you can do anything more than initiating a service request

The format I am going to use is to include author names, article title, my paper that is cited, and the reference number for each citation item.

I am not sure but one may want to include author affiliations as well as journal/symposia that the article is published. I think it is better to put citations in a different section on the resume.

Good luck.
