EB1 EA RFE Approved at CSC

I am very happy to let all of you on this web-site know that my case was approved at CSC on Oct., 11. I knew this from AVM yesterday. The information on this web-site is very helpful for application and confidence. My EB1-EA case number is WAC01-130-xxxxx, and

RFE reply date: August 24
Approve date: Oct., 11

Education: 10 years Ph.D in Optical Science from outside US
Award: one from Chinese Academy of Science, one from Laser Society of Japan
Association: invited to be membership of Optical Society of America
Publication: 30+ journals and conference presentations, two books
Patent: one US patent (pending)
Citation: 30 scientific citations in journals and books
Reviewer: invited for one journal
Reference in total: 2 from China, 3 from Japan, 4 from US, 2 from UK

JHG, congratulations to your successful EB1-EA case. Could you please introduce some points need to be covered in EB1-EA recommendation letters? Thank you

I just can tell you my experience. I asked my previous bosses to write those recommendation letters. This is the easy way. My lawyer prepared drafts for those letters. So, most of the letters came from who I know.

You can also ask some professors, who cited your work, to write the letter for you, even they never met you. I think this is more helpful because they don\'t know you. Their comments are more powerful.

What all new evidence did you send with the RFE?

I received an RFE a month back and have been trying to send a reply.

RFE

The RFE I received was regular. All items (5 items: award, association, ...)listed in this catagory were requested for evidence. I have to response all items by reference letters as much as possible. I also included the updated information about my publications, patent, citations, and journals where my publications and citations appear, as many as I can.
