Guys,

I have been around for many years in this forum. Want to let you know that my EB1-EA was approved few hours back.

Filed: 19th March 2009 at TSC, PP Upgrade: 30th June 2009, Approval: 6th July 2009.
Concurrent I-485 is pending

I already have a NIW (self-filed) approved (filed in 2007).

My EB-1OR of 2006 was rejected (used PP).

I had good credentials in 2006 and it of course improved over the years. But 2006 was botched by poor covering letter at university.

Some credentials:

1. Faculty member at top medical school.
2. More than 20 publications and 1 patent.
3. More than 30 abstracts.
4. More than 100 independent citations.
5. 7 reference letters.
6. Reviewer of journals.
7. Awards and Grants
8. Media reports.

No student awards, paid memberships etc was used.

Hoping to get my 485 soon. I remember all my friends in 2006. I guess most of you are in N-400 forum.

I was painfully stuck in some absurb I-140 background check for more than 18 months for my NIW I-140 which also blocked by H1B extension for more than year.

But, things look bright now and hope for a quick 485 approval. I can answer any questions.

Congratulations! Hopefully your I-485 will be approved quickly. I am curious as to why you filed for EB1-EA if your NIW has been approved. Or was NIW approved after you submitted EB1-EA I-140?

Congratulations...i had a question for you on Interlink...is your 485 tied to your NIW and if so, how do you plan to interlink your 485 to your recently approved EB1-EA?

Hi madmonkey,

I have two separate I-485s, one for EA and other for NIW. But since the NIW one is more than two years old, I called the 1-800 number, escalated to IO and he placed a SR for interlinking. Will let you know if it works.

yeah, please do...actually i too had an EA approved last night (TSC premium). My 485 is tied to EB2-NIW from before.

Congratulations! What is the fee for filing premium?

I'll be filing for my NIW soon and considering making it premium.

Thanks,

dna star please help

Hi DNA star I am planning to apply for EB1-EA by myself. One of the friends told me that I should use DIY kit for a starting point. Could you please recommend me one. Can I email you?
