I saw the following update on USCIS website:

Application Type: I140, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER

Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed.

On October 24, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER location.

Did anyone see such note before getting an approval. I know with 4 papers, 1 book chapter, and 1 patent, I do not stand much chance.

This is the standard e mail from USCIS. You cannot make decision, they will do it, let us wait and see. There is no hard written rule or criteria for the approvals, so be optimistic and wish you good luck.

I got the same message you got the day before my approval. Dont worry, just thing positive!!!

good luck

Did you try to contact them?
It has been more than 60 days already.
