Hi Everyone,
Could you please take a look at my credentials and help me decide if I can try for EB1-EA. I thank you all in advance and look forward to the replies.

Biological sciences Ph.D from India, have 7 years of post Ph.D experience in the US.

11 published papers, 6 first author
160 citations, one paper cited more than 40 times.

Reviewer for 4 journals and associate editor of one. Have reviewed about 10 papers and played a role as an editor for another 7 so far.

I am a staff scientist at a not for profit institute (recently started here).

Have collected 9 reference letters, mostly from my previous job as a post doc.

I had a Department of Defense postdoctoral award and have had 2 travel awards.

Thanks

shelley

if you have a permanent job offer (not temporary) from your current employer, you might want to consider EB1-OR. This of course depends on your employer's willingness to sponsor. You can pay for the cost they can just sign the petition if they are OK.

I think you have pretty good credetials for EB1-OR but EB1-EA may be too risky.
