We applied for our I140 in the EB1-EA category @ CSC on Feb 28, 2003. About 10 days back the USCIS website changed the "Last Updated Date" to June 24 2004. We were moving locally, so we called the 800 number and changed the mailing address. Now the website says" We received your application on June 27, 2004, it is taking 360 to 450 days to process the application".
Somebody please tell me that changing address does not have anything to do with processing dates and the website message is an error. After waiting patiently for a year...we dont want to get into another queue just because we changed the address.
We called the 800 number and the agent (who was very rude) said that it could either be a mistake or they tranferred the case to another office? why would they transfer the case to another office.
