Could you please tell us how you replied those problems of 13 parts? Did you reply one by one of all 13?

I have got my RFE with two pages which ask about all six cateragories and other for EB-OR needed. I have prepared
additional evidence and been working on correspondence letter.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Is your EB1-OR from Nebraska ? If so what was your RD ? Aslo if you have time could you describe if your RFE was generic or did it specify explicity with respect to your application the extra evidence you need to show. Thanks,

It is very normal to receive REF right now. You need to try hard and prepare well to answer comments one by one.

For example, you may be asked to provide evidences to say the importance of the awards you received, I asked the president of associated society to describe how the awards were selected and how many researchers are selected to received the awards.

You have published many papers, but you will be asked to provide strong evidence to say the papers you published will be very important to academic development. You can provide the impact factors of the journals your papers were published and show that these journals have higher impact factors. You also must provide the other researcher's papers which cited and discussed your findings, the more, the better.

You reviewed some manuscripts for some journals, in this case, you have to ask the editor to provide a supportting letter to describe the importance of the journal and the importance of your review on the publication or rejection of the manuscripts.

Thanks very much for your quick response. Your suggestion is very helpful.

The three items you mentioned are what I am addressing now. I got some letters from journals' editors for the importance of my publications, the significance of my review and criteria to choose a reviwer, etc. But I only got some of them, not all journals in which I have the publications.

It seems I am on the right way. My laywer drafted a cover letter to response my RFE. But I feel it is very plain, just cut some paragraph and paste here. I am reviewing the letter to see if need to add some thing more.

My EB-OR is in CSC.

The key point in responsing REF is that every point should base on facts. You have to depend on yourself, not your lawyer. Don't send any evidence when you are not confident.

By a way, one of my friend got his NIW approved in one month after submission in CSC.

Need help from Yuhaogao,Yun Chu or any experienced EB1/NIW filers

Hello, Yun Chu and Yuhaogao,

First congratulations to Yuhaogao. It is a long journey, isn't it.

I have some questions about how to get the information to anwer the RFE. for example, the letter from the president of the association about the award mentioned in Mr. or Ms. Yuhaogao's post, did you draft the letter and ask them to verify and sign it, or they are completely on their own to provide the infomation.
Mr. or Ms. Yun Chu, for the editors of the journals, did you send the drafted letter or you give them part of RFE to let them answer it? Also did RFE ask anything about the membership? Whether it requirs "outstanding achivements"? Could you give me some help on how to answer that as well.
Also if the award is from other country, how does BCIS weigh it the same as it is from here, did they ask any in your RFE?

1. It is better for you to make draft for each supporting letter and cover letter, then your lawyer may edit for you, finally you send to associated person to verify and sign.

2. BCIS does not specify where the award should come from, but you have to provide evidences that they are national or internationally recognized, and how these awards are selected, if they relect your excellence in academy.

3. It will be perfect if you can obtain a supporting letter to say that you are a membership of a society which only individuals who have extraodinary achievements can be quantified. In my experience, I wrote to BCIS that I am not such membership. and BCIS seemed to accept my explaination and approved my case.

For letters from editors, I first sent emails to them ask if they are willing to provide me a letter and also described why I need this letter. Mostly they are nice. Some editors wrote by themself, someone wanted draft.
